I just completed six treatment sessions for Laser Hair Removal at Fresh Vitality, and I need to share with other women that this results in a special kind of happy! How great to not have to shave my underarms any more ... not only is it a time-saver, but so much more attractive to have smooth underarms. Since I am dark-haired, I always had a "5 o'clock shadow" under my arms - but no more! I also had my upper lip area done, so no more "mustache" either anymore! Anyone who can identify with this needs to call for an appointment. I am SO pleased with the results.

I began "dieting" this past March at over 205 pounds. I tried the fall-back diet that had worked reasonably well in the past - South Beach. However, this time, it was much more difficult for me and I wasn't seeing the results that I was hoping to see based on my past experiences with cutting out carbs. I started looking for a better way to address my challenges with food and weight management.

Luckily, I found Dr. Ariss and Fresh Vitality! I can sincerely say that I have learned so much about myself and my own pitfalls with binge eating/overeating/emotional eating. This program is not a diet - it's a lifestyle change. I have learned what triggers my habits, and how to avoid unhealthy behaviors. I have now established a healthy emotional relationship with food and exercise.

I am told daily how good I look now - but I think it's really about how I FEEL now. I eat to live - I don't live to eat. Food and the weight that accompanies overeating no longer dominate my life and how I feel about myself. I'm a different person inside and out.

Approximately 5 months ago, I met a female patient of Dr. Eddie Ariss. I immediately was attracted to her beauty and self-confidence ... she was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside ... I was drawn to the aura that she projected to everyone!

I asked her what her "secret" was...she brought up Fresh Vitality and Dr. Ariss. She stated that "they" had literally "changed her life ... revitalized her." I wanted to know more.

I'm sneaking up on 60 years "young" and frankly, had not had a good night’s sleep in years, was up several times an evening for an untimely relief of my bladder, had no "zest" for life, had a difficult time staying focused. I went to the gym all the time, but was breaking down too frequently, (my mind was willing, but my body seemed to be lagging). Hell, even my SEX DRIVE was waning ... I WAS LOOKING FOR HELP (no, I was crying out for help).

I went to see Dr. Ariss and his staff. He stated that before he could properly diagnose me, he needed to do a thorough blood analysis on me. This was done in a prompt manner. Dr. Ariss sat down with me and he gave me an extremely informative summary of what he had diagnosed, (deficiencies in vitamins, testosterone levels, cholesterol levels, etc.). His explanation was in terms I could easily understand. After his explanation, I asked Dr. Ariss what I should do...what did he recommend?  Dr. Ariss proceeded to give me his recommendations; what vitamins, supplements, testosterone, etc. that my body was lacking.

I immediately started taking everything that Dr. Ariss recommended; that was about 3 months ago. What I noticed almost immediately was more of a "calmness" about me. I slept better ( actually sleeping up to 8 hours a night of uninterrupted sleep). I'm able to stay focused easier. I have my "zest" for life back...

Physically,  I sincerely feel that I'm in the best overall shape of my life, (I'm a lifelong jock). I actually have had people stop and ask me, "Damn, how old are you?" and young kids in their teens stating, "What the hell..." I'm vain - I love it!

Overall, I can't say enough wonderful things about how I feel today! I give a lot of credit to Dr. Ariss and his support staff. I don't want to misrepresent myself....IN addition to the recommendations of Dr. Ariss, I have also watched what I eat and drink much more closely..."we are what we eat."

In summary, I'm excited about what is to come and it will only get better. The best thing to come out of all of this....that young lady that told me about Dr. Ariss and Fresh Vitality....she's now "the love of my life."

I just had the wonderful privilege of having a facial with Medical Aesthetician Janet Martin. Bliss! She has the experience and the touch - a great combination. Everyone should treat themselves to an appointment with her, to be pampered and have their skin cared for. Janet really knows what she is doing! I say this with conviction because I am also a licensed aesthetician. Fresh Vitality is lucky to have Janet on staff.

I have been totally impressed by so many products and services I have been introduced to since I started coming to Dr. Ariss and Fresh Vitality, but one of my favorites by far is Latisse for eyelashes. I have always been fascinated by long, curly eyelashes, and I used every new product to try to accomplish having them. When I started using Latisse, I could notice the difference after only a couple of weeks, but after six weeks, I was amazed at the length and the natural curl. I don't know if that happens for everybody, I wasn't expecting the curl (no more eyelash curler!) Now I use a light coat of mascara on the tips for going somewhere, but for casual days I don't use anything, and they still look great! I only need to use the product every 2 or 3 days for maintenance.

Hi Dr. Ariss:

I am thrilled with the progress that I have had on your program. I have been telling everyone that asks how I am doing it about your program. The problem seems to be MOST are not willing to invest money in themselves which I can't figure out ... I believe if you are not willing to invest in yourself that is very sad. Just the decrease in FOOD pays for the program ... I do have a friend that is very interested and I got some information for them today and will drop off to them today.

My energy level is wonderful, I am now starting to bike with a friend that is above my level in biking so I can push myself to the next level. I will whine and complain the first few rides because that is what I do as much as I hate to say it ... I will however move to the next level after a few weeks and the whining and complaining will stop...

I really want my Mom to try the program, she is not overweight but I think could use the hormones ... She is 74 and was very active up until the last year. She now has slowed down quite a bit and I have been speaking to her about the hormones. I hope she decided to do it and will bring her in to speak with you when she comes over next for a visit.

I consider the program an investment in ME ... and appreciate what your program has done to give me my life back in a much slimmer shell!

I want to thank you for giving me my life BACK. Prior to coming to Fresh Vitality, I could barely make it through my work day. I am a contractor and I try to do a lot of my own labor. I suffered from migraine headaches and also had just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and was hating the affects of the medicine I had been put on. All my previous doctors prior to seeing you just wanted to give me pain pills.

Dr. Ariss, you spent hours with me on my very first visit and really listened to how I was feeling. After all my blood work had been analyzed, you spent more time with me and put a plan together that involved hormone replacement and vitamins. I no longer come home from work and immediately fall asleep. I have discontinued ALL my prior medications and have not felt this good in years. The pain and swelling in my feet, fingers and joints is gone. This summer I went scalloping which involves much diving and swimming, and I out lasted my 23 year old son!

Thank you for giving me my "groove" and "sexy" back ...

Only a short while ago, when I started my journey, I weighed 193 pounds, 5' 9" tall and was a size 14. Today I am happily in a Junior's size 7 (single digit clothes!) at 46 years of age.

I was discouraged and honestly never thought I would ever look fabulous and feel great again.

One of the turning points in my life was a meeting with Dr. Ariss at Fresh Vitality. I had a laundry list of symptoms that I couldn't explain. I wasn't sleeping well, my mind was foggy, my joints ached, and I couldn't concentrate. I woke up in the middle of the night soaking wet, and I had hot flashes during the day. I was only 44 and could not understand what was happening to me. One thing I knew for sure was that I felt like someone unplugged me from being normal. I seriously thought I had lost touch with reality. Being a type A personality - an overachiever - I had never experienced such an overall "down" feeling in my entire life. Well, come to find out I was in peri-menopause. Dr. Ariss immediately ran some blood work tests and put me on Bio-Identical hormones. Within a couple of weeks I started to get my groove back and haven't stopped yet.

I still can't believe that applying a hormone cream a couple of times a day would have such a miraculous affect on my life. Improving the state of my health moved to the top of my daily to-do list. I joined a health club (Seminole Snap Fitness), and hired a personal trainer. Lynne is in her forties and is certified in training women, so I was sold. Now at 46 I am buff and toned, my arms have no flab, and I have never felt healthier or happier. To go with my new feeling of vitality, I then decided to take it to the next level, and LOOK as young as I felt. I went back to Dr. Ariss for the "Liquid Facelift." In two simple appointments, I had Botox and Dermal Fillers applied to my face. It was quick and easy and I'm so glad I did it.

Looking as good as I feel ... I originally went to Dr. Ariss for information on bio-identical hormone therapy because I felt so bad all of the time. I was lethargic, always tired and sleepy, had no energy or motivation at all, and I knew I was also at least 30 pounds overweight. I decided to sign up that day for both programs, weight loss and hormone therapy.

In my world, Dr. Ariss is a miracle worker. He is the most caring, patient compassionate doctor I have ever dealt with. He and his wife, Grace, and their wonderful staff truly make you feel that you are their most important patient when you are there.

I can’t say enough about how fantastic I feel, and how things change when you start feeling good, and you look as good as you feel. I have lost 27 pounds at this point, and I’ll be posting before and after pictures as soon as I reach my goal. Believe me, it’s never too late to “get your sexy back.”

Dr. Ariss,

My first week went really well, even better than I expected. I can't believe the immediate effect. I've gone from a 60 y/o body, to my chronological age of 40. The initial effect was less joint pain. The arrhythmias have actually decreased. I had one bad night, where my BP 90/60. BP didn't further decline, but I was getting a little concerned. HR in the 60`s. Not sure if it was one of the vitamins or the drastic decline in calories. I've been trying to maintain 1000 calories. Very difficult!!!! It's been more around 1300-1500. I've lost about 2lbs, but what is more impressive is that I've gone down a waist size.

I can't believe how my level of alertness has changed. I haven't felt sleepy during the day. Unless, it's due to the lack of calories or fluids. Dr. Ariss, I am so displeased that my primary physicians have never considered these alternative methods. They were on my case about my weight or my triglycerides, but never had any answers for me. You really don't have any idea how many physicians I have gone to looking for answers. If it wasn't for my discussions with Dr. W. who referred me to you, I wouldn't know whom to see for alternatives. I really can't believe Dr. K. didn't consider or refer me to someone who was more pro-hormone therapy for men. I really think that my hormone imbalance has been going on for over 20 years.

Dear Dr. Ariss,

I'm only on Day 3 of my Bio-Identical hormone therapy, and I have not had a hot flash all day!! That's down from having one EVERY HOUR. I have a wonderful, confidant feeling that this is only the beginning of the new me.  I appreciate your knowledge and the caring way that you share it. Update! After six weeks, I am experiencing great results with my hormone therapy: hot flashes have pretty much ceased, and my menopausal acne is all but gone. My complexion is clearer than it has been in years! I also feel stronger emotionally than I have in a long time. Thanks again for helping me to achieve balance in my life.  :)

Update! At right around the three month mark, I cannot help but marvel at how much improved my skin is! Since my late teens, dermatologists had been telling me that my acne is "hormonal." No one ever suggested what to do about it ... until Dr. Ariss. I just knew it was not normal since I take great care of my skin - thank goodness for Bio-Identical hormone therapy. Women do NOT have to live with hormonal acne!!!
